cOMING INTO MOUNTAIN POSE ON YOUR MAT...

Begin standing.
Close your eyes.
Separate your feet two fist width apart.
Spread out and relax your toes against your mat. 
Root down the four corners of each foot: inner ball, outer ball, inner heel, outer heel.
Unlock your knees.
Lengthen your tailbone towards your heels. 
Extend your arms slightly away from your sides with your palms facing forward. 
Roll your shoulders down your back.
Feel your collarbones wide and your chest open. 
Gently gather your shoulder blades towards your spine ; the shoulder blades cradle the heart and the lungs. 
Feel your head balanced right on top of your spine; crown of the head floats up. 
Soften your jaw.
Increase the space between your eyebrows.
Let any tension slip from your facial features.
Feel yourself as this lightening rod of energy connecting heaven and earth as you stand in Tadasana
​(Mountain Pose).
