I know the powerhouse that resides in you and I will help you to tap into it. Prior to our session, I will do an intake interview. I will ask specific questions and help you to articulate the changes you would like to make. This can be done over the phone and takes about fifteen minutes. The conversation allows me to tap into your energy and allows me to intuitively craft a personalized script just for you. Many of my clients feel a shift take place after our first phone interaction. The conversation is the first step to making impactful changes. It allows your subconscious to hear that your conscious mind is ready for a change. It’s like shaking off the blanket on the chair that you always sit on and saying to yourself I need to do something different .

What Can you expect in your session?
Hypnosis is an effective powerful tool to facilitate change. This is a guided process . Your hypnotherapist uses verbal cues and repetition to get you into a totally relaxed trance-like state. The trance-like state you enter may appear similar to sleep in many ways, but you’re fully aware of what’s going on. It is more like you are wide awake, you are very aware under hypnosis. You are in a state of hypersensitivity and all of your senses are enhanced. Hypnotic states are closer to day dreaming than sleeping. While you’re in this trance-like state, your therapist will make guided suggestions designed to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
Because you’re in a heightened state of focus your subconscious is more open to suggestions. The subconscious sees in pictures and images so metaphors and visualizations are used to give your very suggestible subconscious a clear new way of creating your therapeutic goals. In traditional talk therapy the same suggestions might be brushed off or ignored . |
